Workshop FAQ

What time are the workshops held at?

There are no times for the workshop. You can login from work or home at any time to work on the three modules over the three weeks. One module is released per week, so we encourage participants to complete each module on a weekly basis.

Do I need to install any software to access the workshop?

No, you do not need to install any software to access the workshop. You just need internet access on a computer, phone or tablet. We use Moodle, an Open Source Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Moodle is very similar to other online learning platforms such as D2L, Blackboard, and Drupal.

I am not a teacher; can I still take the workshop?

Yes. This workshop is best suited for certified Alberta school teachers, and post-secondary students training to be teachers in Alberta.  Our workshop is specifically designed for teachers as they are best positioned to teach the human sexuality curriculum because of their on-going relationships with their students.
